Jewelry as Sculpture

Environments for Pendants or Pin - Pendants are created so that your jewelry can be displayed as sculpture.  These pieces are crafted from sterling silver, 14k, 18k, or 22k gold, bronze and 24k gold Keum-boo. Keum-boo is the process of fusing thin sheets of 24k gold to silver. Unless noted, pendants and pin - pendants come with an 18” chain. Chains of any length by order.

Jewelry as sculpture #7-4

Sterling silver, 14k gold, tourmalines, garnet, citrine, peridot pearls.  This sushi handroll was some crazy idea I had about 20 years ago.  I glued some white rice to a small sheet of cardstock.  A mold was made and the rice was cast into sterling sheets.  The sterling rice sheets were then cut up to create this sushi handroll with a maki sushi clasp.  14k gold dots the rice as if it was flying fish roe.  The “seaweed” wrap is sterling silver that has been chemically colored.  The piece is displayed on a stand and inside a clear glass dome so that it doesn’t tarnish.  The hand roll is 6” tall and 1 1/4” deep at the widest part.  The snake chain is 29” long and slides through the handroll so that you can adjust the maki-sushi clasp to the side where it will show.  $1250.
