Pendant #2-87

Sterling silver, 24k gold Keum-boo, copper and a freshwater pearl.  I call this piece “Springtime in the Garden.”  An etched copper leaf is being eaten by a small beetle while a tiny garden snail creeps along the bottom of the oval scene, which is covered by a mineral crystal (watch glass).  Intertwined twigs, etched leaves and vines adorn the top of the piece and a freshwater pearl is perched in between the top two twig arches.  A background of 24k gold fused to sterling sets off the interior scene.  A snake chain with handmade twig hooks attaches to two loops in the back of this piece.  The pendant measures 1 3/4” tall x 1 1/2” wide x 3/8” deep.  $695.
