Pin-Pendant #3-26cu  

Sterling silver, 22k gold, 24k gold Keum-boo, carnelian, garnet and pearl.  This piece was created by hydraulically forming the body made from a copper-silver laminate.  The laminate is created by fusing the two metals together, then etching the copper away to expose the silver.  The wings were made by etching a pattern into sterling, then fusing 24k gold on top.  A small bird is perched on one wing.  A chain with handmade attachments hooked to two loops behind the figure’s head so that the piece could be worn as a pin or a pendant.  The angel measured 2 1/2” tall x 1 7/8” wide x 3/8” deep.  Sold.
